a. Buy Property We research select residential locations seeking to acquire property which has the potential of adding to its surroundings. Our goal is to enhance the values by envisioning an upgraded neighborhood or setting. Property chosen may be vacant land requiring a full development initiative or it could be occupied by an existing structure that is razed to “recycle the land” for the ever-changing demands of today’s homeowners; thereby welcoming a new home buyer into an established community with a flair for tasteful progress. b. Design and Build Homes Careful attention is given to each property, analyzing its attributes to create a design for the specific home, most likely to “belong” in its surroundings, without overwhelming the neighborhood. We believe that is it critical that the design of a new home is strategically prepared to fit tastefully into its setting, thereby adding value to the surrounding properties. The inability to “date” the home affirms our preference for traditional designs that creatively carry proven products in a package of timelessness. Our homes are most frequently “built for sale” (speculating that a buyer will come), but our homes are occasionally purchased during construction and get customized by the new buyer. Periodically a home is truly “custom built”, for a client who has a project already planned and wishes to engage us to carry them on to completion. c. Market Our Own Homes Cornerstone Concepts, Inc. serves as Listing Agent for most all of our new homes. It is a licensed real estate agency; with membership in the Property Information Network Multiple Listing Service. The MLS helps to share our new homes with the world, connecting agents and buyers throughout the local region with our distinctive offerings.
