Who We Are
A Brief Company History  William Hamilton moved his family into a home he built on Watertown Street in Lexington, Massachusetts in the early 1950’s. He pressed his skills forward, developing property and building homes in an around Lexington under the name The Hamilton Company. In the late 1970’s, his son, Steve, set out on his own, remodeling and building custom homes under the name S.W. Hamilton Company. In 1993, father and son joined forces, working together as Cornerstone Concepts, Inc. “Bill” was a well-known figure in the local building and real estate fields. He continued casting his influence until his retirement in the late 1990’s. Altogether it has been over 50 years, where various members of the Hamilton Family continued the tradition of quality homebuilding and real estate services to this local community. The family business is continuing to operate under the name Cornerstone Concepts, Inc. The dynamics of the company have changed over time, but the main objectives remain in tact – Design, build and sell carefully crafted homes at custom level quality , built with attention to detail by people of integrity and offered at a fair price.
